Ashley graduated from Columbia Theological Seminary, Decatur, Georgia in 2001 and came to Denver to serve as the Associate Pastor for Spiritual Life at Wellshire Presbyterian Church. After a sabbatical year in 2005, that included work with the United Nations in New York, the Mayor’s Campaign to End Homelessness in Denver, and extended travel in India, Ashley began serving as the pastor at North Presbyterian. She has served the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) on national committees like the Peacemaking Program and Committee for Ecumenical Relations, as well as its representative to the Central Committee of the World Council of Churches, from 1998-2006. Ashley’s theology and spirituality are fed by these local and global experiences of church, culture, people, and the Spirit.
